TPU Injection
Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers are characterized by a large number of particularly good physical properties. Here is an overview of the most important of them:
- Excellent abrasion resistance
- Weather, hydrolysis and microbe resistance (polyether TPU) and radiation resistance
- Resistance to impact with cuts and flexural strength
- High elasticity in wide temperature ranges from (-30°C – +100°C polylan / -20°C – +100°C regenerate)
- Good chemical oil and grease resistance - TPU is not resistant to many solvents
- Very good feel / surface structure
- Good damping properties
- High wear resistance
- Diverse 2K solutions
The requirements for our compound for your finished product are diverse. Today we have four quality levels in our range with which we can cover a large number of these different requirements:
Regranulate series
- Material used: regrind from production waste
- Variations in color and processability from batch to batch are possible
- Suitable for applications with simple to medium technical requirements
- Shore hardness from Shore A70 to Shore D60
Polylan 20s series (New - you can find our stock items HERE)
- Plain polyester (may contain parts of polyether)
- Minimal variations in color and processability from batch to batch are possible
- Suitable for applications with simple to medium technical requirements
- Polyester based injection molding from Shore A70 to Shore D60
Polylan 25s series
- High quality polyester
- Constant quality
- Suitable for applications with higher technical requirements
- Polyester based injection molding from Shore A70 to Shore D60
Polylan 60s series
- Polyether
- Resistant to hydrolysis and microbes
- Suitable for applications with higher technical requirements
- Polyether-based injection molding from Shore A70 to Shore D60
Additives
Almost any form of additives can be implemented. Examples: UV stabilization, antibacterial, antistatic, demoulding aid
Coloring
The material is available in natural and black as standard. Other colors on request.
